Transport and logistics technology companies recorded $220.915 million USD investment in 2019, and as of May 2020 investment in the transport and logistics sector looks positive. The challenging start to 2020 will not have been easy for founders, however as governments begin to discuss easing coronavirus (COVID-19) lock-down restrictions later in the year, is the transport and logistics sector well placed to see continued growth?

Companies providing supply chain management solutions seem to be attracting increased attention. With large raises being closed by the likes of Kobo360 and Lori Systems in 2019, and Series A rounds closed by Kwik Delivery, Sokowatch and Bosta in Q1 2020, it would seem that companies providing multi-dimensional supply chain solutions are beginning to gain traction.
